Is Nutella your favorite thing in life? It is used to be for me until I decided that I wanted to try and make my own hazelnut spread without all that added sugar! Turns out I nailed it, there is an alternative to Nutella after all!
Soooo, after a couple of attempts I finally nailed it! And, it's not even close to the sugar amount that Nutella has and is somewhat healthy in my book. Here is how I made my delicious never going back to Nutella hazelnut spread:

Ingredients and how to:
I've gotten the courage to make my own hazelnut spread, and to make it taste very similar to Nutella. At a very young age, I got hooked on Nutella to the point of obsession! HAHAHAHHAHAHA. And as I got older, I started reading the ingredients and learned that it is filled with sugar. So, I had to get over my obsession and get a new hazelnut spread obsession and that's when I turned to my favorite candy Ferrero Roche. However, even then I try not to go tooo crazy with those, unless it's Christmas time!
2 cups raw hazelnuts
1/2 cup almond milk
1 tbsp. honey
1/3 cup. coconut sugar plus 1 tbsp. (It just works)
1/2 cup. water
1 1/2 cacao powder or coco powder. Don't forget that if you use coco powder that already has some sort of sweetness to it, so watch the taste.
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Bake the hazelnuts at 350 for 13-15 minutes until the hazelnuts turn a light brown, and you will smell them when they are ready to go. When they are done, set aside and let cool. To get the skin off you can either rub them together or in between a cloth. Some skin is not going to come off and that's ok, a little skin won't hurt anyone. In a food processor or a strong blender, blend the hazelnuts and sugar until it becomes smooth and creamy like almond butter. This makes the hazelnut butter!
Place in a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Depending on the consistency you want add more water, but I found the exact amount of water gave the consistency that I like.
