Keto Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Fat Bombs!

As you may know, I am a hazelnut freak! However, finding the healthy combination of eating this nut with chocolate isn’t the easiest. So, my challenge was to figure out a new keto fat bomb combination that tasted amazing and was going to give me the healthy fats that I need. Now I finally created it!


Here is what you’re going to need for this fat bomb recipe:


- 1 cup of roasted hazelnuts. (Bake hazelnuts in a 350 degree oven for a few minutes, until you can smell the hazelnuts).

- 1 tbsp. unsweetened cacao powder

- 1 tbsp. Swerve

- 2 tbsp. melted butter

- 2 tbsp. dark chocolate. This one is important because you want to buy dark chocolate with the highest percentage of purity, it has less carbs in it. The one I bought was from Trader Joe’s, I pictured it so you can see the brand. It has 85% purity and made in France. It’s delicious!



In order to get the right consistency, you have to create hazelnut butter. Blending the hazelnuts until they become a smooth”ish” texture and I say that because it will never be creamy. Just like almond butter, there’s still that graininess to it.


Once the hazelnuts are finished roasting let them cool before you put them in a food processor, blender or mini food processor. Then blend, blend, blend until it becomes a butter!

Meanwhile, put the butter and chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and nuke it for about 30 seconds. Be sure to check it so it doesn’t get too hot. Then stir everything to cool down the chocolate.

After the chocolate has cooled down and you get a silky texture, combine it with the hazelnut butter and blend again to incorporate all of the ingredients. Once everything is combined you can put the delicious mixture in some silicone molds (highly recommend this). I opted to chop some raw hazelnuts for some texture. I did this two ways, after I poured the mixture into the mold I sprinkled them on top and the other was putting the chopped hazelnuts first then I poured the chocolate mixture. Immediately put into the freezer or refrigerator.


Let them firm up and they should be ready to eat in about 30 minutes!



This is how they come out! The texture is more on the chewy side almost like fudge. I think this will remain my go to fat bomb going forward! If you create this recipe, tag me on instagram @feroz_creatif so I can see your creation!
